Did you know that volunteers had found a concealed shoe at the Burnley Empire? The shoe was found before the first phase of major works were carried out and is now on display to the public.
A general view of concealed shoes is that builders hid them during renovations to bring good luck and hope to their work.
This shoe is very special to us which is why we've joined in with the 'Special Shoes' exhibition currently on display at Creative Spaces Burnley through the Burnley Haz Scheme.
The exhibition is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-4pm until the end of April.
