BET Trustee Allen managed to capture the moment when Richard Clews (Jubb Clews) reached 20 metres high whilst carrying out survey work throughout the stage house of the Burnley Empire.
The area has been cleared out to enable safe access which resulted in accessing all areas, including high up, in the fly tower. This is a major accomplishment to say that this once unknown area has finally been reached and surveyed.

Whilst carrying out survey work Richard Clews and Lynda Jubb both carried out EXTRA work and very kindly removed the steel rods that were suspended in the fly tower. These once held a suspended ceiling over the stage during the bingo era. Thanks to Theatres Trust these essential survey works were made possible through the Resilient Theatres: Resilient Communities Grant Programme.
